Mini Protein Balls

This versatile bite-sized snack utilizes ingredients that can be easily interchanged for unique flavor profiles! You only need four simple ingredients for this snack that adults and children would love. Make this easy recipe for a mini dessert, on-the-go snack, or homemade dessert.

Ingredients: (12 Servings)

½ cup peanut butter, almond butter, OR sunflower butter

¾ cup crispy rice cereal OR

¾ cup oats OR

¾ cup shredded coconut

1 teaspoon maple syrup

OPTIONAL: ½ cup dark chocolate chips, melted


Step one:

Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Combine peanut butter (or almond butter or sunflower butter), rice cereal (or coconut, or oats), and maple syrup in a medium bowl. Mix together.


Step two:

Roll the mixture into balls, using about 2 teaspoons for each. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet. Freeze until firm, about 15 minutes.


Step three: (Optional)

Roll the balls in melted chocolate. Return to the freezer until the chocolate is set, about 15 minutes.
