These funky oatmeal cookies are delightfully soft and chewy! They only require some mundane ingredients, and the technique behind them in quite simple as well.
NOTE: Before you get mad at me for creating such a silly name for such scrumptious cookies, I assure you that you'll forget all about the name once you try them. They will fertilize your taste buds, for sure! (alright, enough potty jokes)
Let's get into the recipe!
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 hot chocolate packet
1 instant oatmeal packet
½ cup butter
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 box of raisins
Step one:
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place parchment paper on two baking trays.
Step two:
Combine flour, rising agents, salt, cinnamon, and hot chocolate powder in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Then, gently mix in the contents of the oatmeal packet.
Step three:
Cream sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl with a hand mixer until light and smooth.
Add the egg & vanilla and blend once more.
Step four:
Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture
Step five:
Carefully fold in the raisins.

Step six:
Create table-spoon sized balls of dough. Place them on a parchment rimmed baking sheet and set each ball 2 inches away from one another.
Step seven:
Bake in a preheated oven for 8 minutes; let them cool for another before enjoying.
